St Mary

Regular Mass Service at St. Mary's Church (10am)

August 25: Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost (Proper 16) – Sung Hymns

September 1: Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost (Proper 17) Kathleen Malone-Bogusky, Officiant

September 8: Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Our Patronal Feast Day).  This is our back to church Sunday, choir begins, and we will be dedicating a new plaque to our Rector Emeritus, the Rev. John Gladstone Mills and his beloved wife Margaret who served our parish and this community from 1961 until his retirement in 1992.

At St. Mary’s, we work to be Christ’s heart and hands in this community and the world; loving our neighbors as ourselves. Here you are welcome, affirmed, loved, and safe as we gather together, each on their own spiritual journey, for worship in the Episcopal tradition. With a strong ecumenical and interfaith history, our space is available to the community for other religious services like weddings and funerals.

Located in the Cold Spring National Register Historic District, our beautiful stone Church nestled in the spectacular Hudson Highlands has been called The Cathedral of the Hudson Valley for its graceful grey granite spire rising 128 feet above the village of Cold Spring.

We have a beautiful, scenic campus with a church, parish hall, and great lawns available for rent. Our parish hall is equipped with a full commercial kitchen and you will find it a perfect venue for meetings, weddings, receptions, and private events of all kinds. We work with, and can recommend, several local caterers for those occasions where food is needed.
